Kaifeng, March 26, 2017 - A delegation of 3 members, led by Rhys Williams, Director of Transnational Education, from the Victoria University (Australia) visited Henan university. The leadership of the International Education College warmly welcomed the delegation and held a meeting with them.
Prof. Zhao Xinshun, Dean of IEC, gave the delegation a warm welcome. He hoped that based on the development plan of Henan University and with the establishment of the new international campus in Zhengzhou, there should be more extensive cooperation between the two sides, and more investment in both quantity and quality of teaching, for cultivating more talented and well-rounded students.
The two sides held thorough discussions and exchanged views on curriculum design, educational quality, arrangements of advanced courses, credit transfer, new major program development, online course enrollment, postgraduate-level courses, financial tax, etc. They also provided a series of constructive suggestions. And the two sides also reached preliminary consensus on introducing featured courses of Henan University, increasing the number of credited courses from Victoria University, and the time adjustment of core courses of VU.
As before, Rhys Williams expressed gratitude for the warm welcome and greetings of Henan University, and looked forward to the greater cooperation of the two universities. He is pleased with this visit, and believes that this visit will help to create a new level of cooperation, and achieve a win-win outcome.
