Kaifeng, March 6, 2017 - A delegation led by Rhys Williams, Director of Transnational Education, from Victoria University (Australia) paid a visit to Henan University, and held a meeting with the leadership of the International Education College (IEC).
During the meeting, the two sides shared the updated development plans of both universities. Prof. Zhao Xinshun, Dean of IEC, introduced the “Double First Class” Initiative of Henan University, and the positive role of the Sino-foreign cooperative education of the International Education College in the “Double First Class” Initiative. He also presented the evaluation result of the “Chinese-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools” by the Ministry of Education, China.
The two sides also held extensive discussions and reached bilateral agreements on enrollment, program operation, and also various issues in the process of cooperation, such as teaching facilities, teacher training, and academic research.
The two sides agreed that on the special occasion of the 15th anniversary of the establishment of the International Education College, they will hold an exhibition for the achievements of “the Chinese-foreign cooperation in running schools”, and also academic seminars and other celebration activities.
After the meeting, accompanied by the leadership of the International Education College, the delegation held a meeting with students of the Victoria University Program Class of 2019.
