On the afternoon of September, 24th, 2015, the opening ceremony for students of Year 2015 was held in the grand auditorium on Minglun campus. The University President Zhao Guoxiang and all members of leading group in IEC participated in it.
The dean firstly gave speech to celebrate the arrival of students of Year 2015 and introduced achievements of IEC to students, meanwhile, the dean taught students the value of “cooperation, freedom and perfection” in university and wished all students a fulfilling and memorable university life.
Local teachers and foreign teachers also expressed warm welcome to students. The representative of new students also shared with others the importance of university and major, hoping to adjust themselves to life in university and work hard to pursue dreams.
The president summarized the ceremony by introducing the history of HENU and encouraged students to be grateful, responsible and relate themselves to their countries.
The school song brought down the curtain on this ceremony.
