Kaifeng, September 21, 2017 - A delegation of six members from the Victoria University (Australia) - Rhys Williams (Director, Transnational Education), Brendan McCarthy (Director, Learning & Teaching), Bronte Neyland (Director, Victoria University International), Jonathan Pratt (Associate Director, Victoria University International), George Yue (Transnational Education Program Manager), and Jia Rong (Program leader, College of Engineering & Science) - accompanied by Wang Tao and Wang Xingyan, the directors of the Beijng Office of VU, visited Henan university. The leadership of the International Education College warmly welcomed the delegation, and greeted them on behalf of the leadership of Henan University.
The two sides reached bilateral agreements on various cooperative issues, such as English teaching reform and full cooperation of courses. They also discussed the revision of the contract. During the visit, accompanied by the leadership of the International Education College, the delegation held two meetings with students of the Victoria University Program Class of 2019 and 2020. The delegation answered students’ questions about English learning, studying overseas, and also encouraged them and felt very pleased with students’ English language proficiency and critical thinking abilities. And the delegation spoke highly of the qualities of IEC students.
