Kaifeng, September 21, 2016 - Professor Lin Jinhui, Director of the Sino-foreign Cooperative Education Research Center of Xiamen University, gave a lecture entitled "New Opportunities and Challenges for Sino-Foreign Cooperation in Running Schools in the New Era". The academic talk was hosted by Vice President Sun Junjian of Henan University.

Professor Lin first congratulated our university on the achievements of the Sino-foreign cooperation in running schools and the establishment of the Miami College. He reviewed the development of Sino-foreign cooperative education for the past 30 years, pointing out that in recent years, Sino-foreign cooperative education institutions and projects have increased rapidly from 71 in 1995 to 2452 in 2016. Professor Lin pointed out that the Sino-foreign cooperative education in the new era is facing opportunities and challenges.

Professor Lin believes that the new direction of the Sino-foreign cooperative education development is to "improve quality and efficiency, look over the overall situation, and enhance the ability." Sino-foreign cooperative education has witnessed 30 years of development and now has stepped onto the new stage of quality development and upgrading.

The lecture later has moved on to the Q&A. Professor Lin answered several questions from the teachers on the model of Sino-foreign cooperative education, and the specific differences between the Chinese and foreign cooperative education institutions and projects.
