Shanghai, December 15th, 2018. Ma Xiaoyong, Dean of International Education College, Xu Chu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of IEC and Wang Peng, Secretary of the Youth League Committee of IEC and other leaders went to Shanghai to visit our alumni in Shanghai.

Before the start of the annual meeting, the college leaders and teachers had a cordial exchange with the alumni. Dean Ma Xiaoyong first expressed the greetings from the college leaders to the alumni in Shanghai. He expressed his heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their achievements in the past years. Particularly, he expressed gratitude towards the alumni association for strengthening the liaison between alumni and alma mater. At the same time, Dean Ma Xiaoyong informed the alumni about the recent developments of IEC. He hoped that the alumni would actively contribute to the development of the college and truly make the alma mater a home. The alumni then reported on their study, work and life in Shanghai. They said that they would inject the spiritual strength brought by the college into their work and yield excellent results. Alumnus He Wei also discussed the next year's work plan on behalf of the Shanghai Alumni of the International Education College.

At the annual meeting, Zhang Baoming, Deputy Secretary of the University Party Committee, and Liu Bo, Director of the school alumni work and education development foundation office, met with the IEC alumni and took a group photo. Zhang Yanfei, a college alumnus, was named Alumni Service Star by the Henan University Alumni Association of Henan University.
